Samaritas Affordable Living Grand Rapids is a community which offers the opportunity to be actively involved with others while maintaining ones independence and privacy. Our community features 37 one-bedroom apartments, 6 barrier free units primarily for persons with mobility impairments, 7 studio apartments, 4 lofts, and 5 two bedroom apartments.
The Affordable Living Grand Rapids Lifestyle
Samaritas Affordable Living Grand Rapids welcomes all individuals and couples who meet the MSHDA age and income requirements, regardless of religion, race, ethnicity, national origin or sexual orientation. The building, located near downtown Grand Rapids, is close to churches and two blocks from The Rapid bus routes near Eastern and Burton.
Rents are subsidized by the federal Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). Residents must be age 55 or older and meet HUD income guidelines. Rent includes heat, water and trash disposal. Electricity is billed separately.
