Samaritas has helped refugees and immigrants for nearly one hundred years. We are a Michigan-based non-profit agency dedicated to helping people from all backgrounds and countries thrive in their communities.

When you work with Samaritas, you will get the attention you deserve and free help to find a job, feed your family, and take care of your household.

Our helpful workers will provide education in your native language, for as long as you need help and reside in Michigan. When you work with us, you have another family who can help you achieve self-sufficiency and understand how systems in the United States differ from your homeland.

Get Food & Essential Supplies

Samaritas will help you connect with:

  • Food - Get food for you (including Halal options)
  • Hygiene Items -Get soap, shampoo, toothbrushes, and other hygiene items
  • Clothing - Clean clothes for adults and children
  • Baby Items - Diapers, formula, and other items like car seats
  • Housing - Samaritas will ensure you have options for a roof over your head
  • Medical – Assistance finding medical care, making appointments, and referrals to specialized care

Refugee

Asylee (pending or approved)
