Suburban Chrysler of Garden City Donates $5K and Hosts Drive for Samaritas Clients

The leaders of Suburban Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM of Garden City are spreading joy and generosity by hosting a Holiday Drive to support Samaritas clients with the essentials for the season.

Starting today, Friday, Nov. 14, through Sunday, Dec. 7, metro-Detroiters, especially those in the western suburbs, are encouraged to bring non-perishable food, new clothing, and new toys to the Suburban Chrysler Dealership. Samaritas Holiday Drive donations will be accepted during regular dealership hours and packed into a one-of-a-kind, decorated Dodge Ram Truck located on the
showroom floor.

Samaritas requests that donors bring the following:
· Canned foods such as corn, green beans, peas, baked beans, yams, ham, and salmon.

· Boxes of oatmeal, grits, biscuit mix, corn muffins, pancake mix, and jars of peanut butter and jelly.

· New clothing, appropriate for any season, for newborns and every age group up to 17 years old.

· New toys for all ages that include board games, coloring books, graphic novels, AirPod cases, teddy
bears, Barbie Dolls, electronic gaming accessories, basketballs, Lego sets, as well as arts and
craft sets and action figures.

In-kind donations like these help Samaritas stabilize the households of families and individuals who’ve been hit hard by tough economic times and unimaginable challenges.

While navigating tough times, people participating in Samaritas’ family preservation programs are working hard in therapeutic programs to help keep their families together.
